Nederrijn riverfront
The Lower Rhine runs along the town's southern edge, a wide ribbon on the map with a bridge crossing towards the flat Betuwe river country beyond.

Rhenen Map Poster & Print
Rhenen sits at the point where the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, a low glacial ridge, meets the Nederrijn. On a map, this is one of the rare places in the Netherlands where terrain clearly shapes the town. The compact old centre lies against the river, wooded slopes rise behind it, and flat floodplains stretch away on the opposite bank.
The Grebbeberg, at the western edge of town, was the scene of heavy fighting in May 1940 and is now home to a military cemetery. Nearby is Ouwehands Dierenpark, a well-known zoo. In the centre, the tall Cuneratoren, the tower of St. Cunera's Church, has long been a landmark visible across the river landscape.
A Rhenen map poster shows these layers neatly. The Rhine forms a broad band across the frame, the old town clusters along its northern bank, and quieter roads climb into the woods of the ridge. It is a small place with an unusually clear geographic story, which suits a clean monochrome drawing.

The Grebbeberg
The wooded hill on the western side of town, known for the 1940 battle, appears as a quiet area of paths and green space above the river floodplain.
Heuvelrug slopes
North of the centre, roads rise onto the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, where forest and scattered streets create a softer, more open pattern than the compact old core.

ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Rhenen is a good choice for people who know the Dutch river landscape well: former residents, walkers on the Heuvelrug, or families with ties to the Grebbeberg's history. The map captures a meeting of hill and river that is rare in the Netherlands.
