Riverside Map Poster & Print
Riverside lies in Southern California's Inland Empire, and from above it looks like classic California planning. A broad street grid spreads outward from a compact downtown. The Santa Ana River runs along the city's northwestern edge, with a wide sandy bed and parkland on both banks. Mount Rubidoux rises right next to downtown as a steep round hill with winding paths.
The city built its fortune on the navel orange, and the parent tree of the California industry still grows here. Victoria Avenue, planted in the 1890s, cuts diagonally across the grid through what were once citrus groves. A Riverside map poster shows that long tree-lined line running against the street pattern.
Downtown is anchored by the Mission Inn, a sprawling Mission Revival hotel that fills an entire block. To the east lies the University of California, Riverside, with a campus of loops and quads. Freeways frame the whole city, and the older plan still shows clearly inside them.

Victoria Avenue
A long diagonal boulevard planted in the citrus era cuts across the rectangular grid. It is easy to follow from the old groves toward the city's heart.
Mount Rubidoux
A rocky hill beside downtown, its spiralling paths climbing to a summit cross. It forms a small contour-like knot next to the grid.

ለምን Riverside
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
UC Riverside graduates, families who moved to the Inland Empire and people who grew up among the old groves often want a map that feels more personal than a skyline. Riverside's grid, river and hill make a clear and balanced print.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a graduation year or an address, and use the coordinates line to pin down a street. Choose one of five styles: Classic, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand works especially well for a dry, sunny inland city.
