Saatlı is the administrative centre of Saatlı District in central Azerbaijan, set on the broad lowland drained by the Kura and Aras rivers. The land here is almost completely flat, and from above the town shows up as a neat block of streets surrounded by a large, regular grid of fields and water channels.
