Sagauli Map Poster & Print
Sagauli lies in East Champaran district in northern Bihar, on the flat, fertile plain that runs up to the Nepal border. Its name is associated with the Treaty of Sugauli, signed in 1816 between the East India Company and Nepal, which set much of Nepal's southern border. On a map today, it is a compact market town surrounded by fields.
The layout is shaped by the plain and its routes. A railway line passes through, and roads lead to Motihari, Raxaul and villages across the district. The town's lanes gather close to these routes in a dense, irregular cluster. Beyond them, the land opens into a wide patchwork of fields, with small streams and ponds typical of the Gangetic plain.
A Sagauli map poster offers a quiet view of a place that played a part in the history of the region. It shows the rail line, the roads leading out, the close-knit town centre and the open land around it. It is a thoughtful gift for families from Champaran and for people interested in the history of the India–Nepal border.

Dense lanes
The centre is a compact cluster of narrow lanes near the main routes. Printed in black, it forms a small, dark core against the pale fields.
Open plain
Flat farmland surrounds Sagauli on all sides. The open margins of the map show how completely the town sits within the agricultural landscape of northern Bihar.
