Santa Rosa in Laguna province lies on the southern edge of Metro Manila's growth, stretching from the shore of Laguna de Bay up gentle slopes toward the higher ground around Tagaytay. The older town centre sits near the lake, with a church and plaza at its heart, while the rest of the city has expanded inland in a series of planned subdivisions, industrial parks and new business districts.
The South Luzon Expressway runs through the city and draws a strong diagonal across the map, with interchanges feeding into the surrounding estates.
