Tsna river bends
The river loops across its wide floodplain beside the town, its meanders and old channels drawn as soft curves against the straight lines of the streets.

Sasovo Map Poster & Print
Sasovo lies in the east of Ryazan Oblast, on the Tsna, a river that winds northward through forest and meadow toward the Moksha. The town grew around a station on the railway, and on a map that origin is clear: straight, rectangular blocks laid out near the tracks, with the river's looping course running alongside.
The town is also known for its civil aviation flight school, which has trained generations of Soviet and Russian pilots, and the airfield forms a distinct geometric shape at the edge of the plan. Elsewhere, low-rise private houses on long plots contrast with the denser apartment blocks built near the centre in the Soviet decades.
Around the town, the Tsna floodplain spreads out in meadows and patches of woodland, crossed by country roads leading to nearby villages. A Sasovo map poster brings these pieces together: the tracks, the grid, the airfield and the slow bends of the river, each distinct even without a single label.

Railway spine
The main line and station yard run through Sasovo in a long straight stroke, the axis along which the town's earliest blocks were planned.
Flight school airfield
The runway and aprons of the civil aviation flight school form a clean geometric shape on the outskirts, easy to pick out among fields and houses.

ለምን Sasovo
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Graduates of the flight school remember Sasovo from the air, and residents know it from the ground, and a map works for both. The combination of river curves and railway grid makes an understated, well-balanced print for a home or office.
Personalise the title and subtitle, for example with your graduation year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose among five styles, with Blueprint suiting the aviation connection especially well, then download the HD files or order a printed poster on matte paper.
