Savigny-sur-Orge Map Poster & Print
Savigny-sur-Orge lies in Essonne, south of Paris, on a slope that descends towards the Orge river. From above, the town is mostly residential, with streets of houses and small apartment blocks spreading across the hillside. The river valley forms the southern edge, with meadows, parks and paths along the water that give the map a soft, green border.
The Château de Savigny, a historic building that now houses a secondary school, stands near the river. Railway lines serving the RER cross the town, and the A6 motorway passes nearby, linking Savigny with Paris and Orly. The mix of transport lines and residential streets reflects the town's role as part of the southern suburbs.
A Savigny-sur-Orge map poster shows the fine pattern of residential streets on the slope, the river curving along the bottom and the lines of rail and road crossing through. The château grounds appear as a clear open space. It is a calm portrait of a suburb that combines everyday life with river views.
