Liri river loop
The river wraps around the historic core in a tight curve, so the old town reads almost like a peninsula framed by water and bridges.

Sora Map Poster & Print
Sora sits in the Liri valley in southern Lazio, where the river curves sharply around the historic centre. That bend is the town's defining shape from above: the old streets are gathered inside a watery loop and crossed by several bridges. Newer districts extend across the flat valley floor beyond.
Rising directly above the centre is Monte San Casto, a steep hill topped by the ruins of a medieval fortress. Its slopes form a dark, compact mass beside the streets below. Sora is the birthplace of the film director Vittorio De Sica and of the church historian Cardinal Cesare Baronio.
A Sora map poster brings together river, rock and town in a close, well-balanced frame. The Liri's meander sets out the old centre, the hill anchors one side, and roads leave the valley toward Frosinone and the Abruzzo mountains. It is an intimate composition with a strong natural outline.

Monte San Casto
A steep hill crowned by castle ruins rises right beside the centre, a compact landform that adds weight and contrast to the map.
Valley expansion
Beyond the river, the modern town spreads across the level floor of the Liri valley in wider blocks and longer roads.
