Sutrāpāra is a town on the southern coast of the Saurashtra peninsula in Gujarat, in Gir Somnath district. The Arabian Sea forms one side of the map, and the coastline gives the town a strong, clear boundary. The streets run inland from the shore into flat, agricultural country.
From above, the town is a compact settlement close to the sea, with roads following the coast toward neighbouring towns along this stretch of shoreline. The inland side opens into farmland, so the settlement is framed by water on one side and fields on the other.
