Regular street grid
Straight streets and rectangular blocks make up most of the town. From above they form a clean pattern that looks especially crisp in black and white.

Tanabi Map Poster & Print
Tanabi sits in the northwest of São Paulo state, in the region around São José do Rio Preto. The land here is gently rolling and has been worked as farmland for generations. On a map the town is a neat, compact grid of rectangular blocks, surrounded by a wide field pattern and linked to the regional road network.
Like many interior towns in São Paulo, Tanabi grew around a central square and its church, with straight streets laid out in regular blocks. The grid is easy to read from above. It stretches a little further in some directions than others, and newer neighbourhoods on the outskirts keep the same geometry but loosen it slightly.
A Tanabi map poster draws out this orderly plan. The fine, even lines of the grid give the print a calm rhythm, and the open countryside around it keeps the composition balanced. It is a simple design that suits the town's quiet character.

Central square
The traditional plaza at the heart of the grid is the town's reference point. It shows on the map as a small open space among the blocks.
Rural road network
Roads and tracks run out from the town through farmland. They join Tanabi to neighbouring municipalities and to the wider road network of the region.
