Contour-following roads
Main routes curve along the hills instead of cutting straight across them. The town's outline is shaped by the relief more than by any planned grid.

Tizi Gheniff Map Poster & Print
Tizi Gheniff lies in the southwestern part of Tizi Ouzou Province, in the hill country of Kabylie. From above, the town looks less like a grid than a branching pattern. Streets climb and bend with the slope, older lanes gather near the centre, and roads leave town along the ridgelines toward villages scattered over the surrounding hills.
The name reflects the landscape. In Kabyle place names, tizi usually means a mountain pass, and many towns in the region share it. The setting explains much of the map. Buildings follow the flatter ground, while ravines and steep slopes stay open and cut pale gaps between the clusters of streets across the town.
A Tizi Gheniff map poster turns this relief into line work. There is no shading, but the terrain still shows in the way roads coil, double back and thin out, and in the empty folds where no street can go. The result is a quiet, detailed composition that rewards a closer look at the smaller lanes.

Compact centre
Near the middle, shorter streets and denser blocks form the town's core. It is a tighter knot of lines from which the longer roads spread outward.
Open ravines
Stream valleys and steep ground between neighbourhoods stay largely unbuilt. They leave blank channels that divide the map into separate hillside clusters.
