Tosya Map Poster & Print
Tosya lies in the south of Kastamonu province in northern Turkey. It sits in the valley of the Devrez river, which flows east through a plain framed by mountains. The town spreads along the valley floor instead of growing in a round shape. This gives the map a long, directional form that follows the line of the plain.
The D100 highway, one of the country's main east–west routes, passes through the area, so Tosya is a familiar stop for travellers crossing northern Anatolia. Around the town the valley floor is divided into irrigated fields. Their small plots and channels show up as fine texture in black and white.
These fields produce Tosya rice, one of the best-known regional rice varieties in Turkey, and its name is recognised far beyond the province. A Tosya map poster connects that reputation to the ground itself. It shows the town's streets on the valley floor and the fields stretching away along the river in both directions.

Rice fields
Irrigated paddies around the town form a fine mesh of small plots and channels. This is the landscape behind the rice that carries Tosya's name across Turkey.
Highway through the plain
The D100 crosses the valley near the town as a long, strong line on the poster. It has made Tosya a regular stop on journeys across northern Anatolia.

ለምን Tosya
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
People from Tosya living in Istanbul, Ankara or abroad often like to keep a reminder of the valley close, and a clean street map does that without sentimentality. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a family with roots in Kastamonu.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can carry a family name, a wedding date or simply the town in your own words. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The digital files cost $9.
