Universidade Rural Map Poster & Print
Universidade Rural takes its name from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, whose main campus lies in Seropédica, west of the city of Rio de Janeiro. From above, the campus is a large, open landscape of lawns, trees, fields and institutional buildings, organised around a monumental main building and a network of internal roads.
Founded as an agricultural school, the university still has extensive fields and research areas, and they give the map large areas of open ground. The old road between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo passes through the area, and residential streets have grown around the campus as students and staff settled nearby.
A Universidade Rural map poster is essentially a campus portrait: the main axis, the long buildings, the green spaces between them, and the town streets on the edges. It is a lasting keepsake for graduates, researchers and anyone who spent formative years there.

Campus roads
Internal roads link departments, residences and fields across the campus, drawing a loose network of lines through otherwise open ground.
Fields and research land
Large agricultural and experimental areas surround the core, leaving wide open spaces on the map that recall the university's origins as a farming school.
