Valdepeñas Map Poster & Print
Valdepeñas is in the south of Ciudad Real province, on the high, open plain of La Mancha. The land around it is flat and dry, and much of it is planted with vines. The town's name is attached to one of Spain's best-known wine designations, and wineries appear among the streets as large courtyards and warehouses, not just in the countryside.
At the centre is the Plaza de España, a square lined with arcaded buildings, and the historic streets spread out from it in a fairly compact grid. The A-4 motorway between Madrid and Andalusia passes along the edge of town and forms a strong line on the map. The town is also remembered for its resistance to French troops in 1808.
A Valdepeñas map poster shows a town with a clear boundary. Dense blocks sit in the middle of the plain, main roads leave in several directions, and beyond them the long, straight lines of field boundaries and vineyard rows continue to the edge of the frame. The effect is orderly and calm, like a well-kept ledger of the land.

Wineries in town
Winery buildings and courtyards appear among the residential blocks and show up as larger, simpler shapes in the dense fabric of the centre.
A-4 corridor
The motorway between Madrid and Andalusia passes along the side of town. Its long, straight course contrasts with the tighter streets inside.

ለምን Valdepeñas
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Valdepeñas means something to people who were born there, and also to anyone who knows its wine. A map of the town is a less obvious and more personal choice than a bottle label. It works well in a kitchen, dining room or small home bar.
Add a title, a subtitle and a date, such as a harvest year or a wedding, to the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, including Paper and Sand, which suit the warm tones of La Mancha. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster in a wooden frame.
