Meandering rivers
Rivers from the eastern highlands loop through the low country on their way to the ocean. Their bends give the map its most fluid lines.

Vohipaho Map Poster & Print
Vohipaho is in the Atsimo-Atsinanana region of south-eastern Madagascar, a short distance inland from the Indian Ocean. This part of the island is green and wet. Rivers wind down from the eastern escarpment to the sea, crossing low ground divided into rice fields. The town itself appears as a small cluster of lanes and buildings within this landscape.
From above, water shapes most of the map. Streams curve through the lowland, and the land between them is broken up into fields and wooded patches. Roads follow the drier ground where possible and link Vohipaho to nearby villages and the coastal route. The street network is small and loosely arranged.
A Vohipaho map poster keeps the design light: a few roads, a handful of meandering waterways and the close-set streets of the town. Printed in black and white, it becomes a simple record of a place in one of Madagascar's more remote regions, and a meaningful one for anyone with ties to it.

Compact town core
Vohipaho's streets form a small, dense cluster. They sit among the surrounding fields rather than spreading into a grid.
Links to the coast
Local roads join the town to villages and to routes running along the south-east coast. These are the few straight lines in a map shaped by water.
