Wangkui Map Poster & Print
Wangkui is a county town in Heilongjiang, in the far northeast of China, on the Songnen Plain. This is broad, level farmland known for its dark, fertile black soil. From above, the landscape is divided into large rectangular fields, and straight roads run across the plain for long distances, rarely bending.
The town follows the same logic. Its streets form a largely orthogonal grid, with wide main avenues and bigger blocks than you would find in an older city further south. At the edges the grid breaks up into farm roads and clusters of villages spread across the plain, so the boundary between town and countryside is easy to trace.
A Wangkui map poster captures the geometry of the northeastern plain: long lines, right angles and a clear edge between town and field. Winters here are long and cold, and the map has some of that austerity. It is a clean, spare drawing that suits the minimal black-and-white style especially well.

Orthogonal streets
Main avenues cross at right angles and divide the town into large blocks. This clear framework stays legible even at the smallest print size.
Field roads
Beyond the built-up area, straight farm tracks and roads run out to villages. They extend the town's grid into the countryside in fine, sparse lines.

ለምን Wangkui
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
People who grew up in Heilongjiang often have a strong sense of the plain: the wide sky, the straight roads, the harvest season. A map of Wangkui puts that home ground on the wall in a calm and precise form.
The title and subtitle can carry the town's name in any wording you like, along with a date or dedication, and the coordinates line can be edited too. Pick one of five styles, then download the $9 HD files or order a print with an optional wooden frame.
