Saugatuck estuary
The Saugatuck River widens into a tidal estuary as it reaches the Sound. It divides the town, and on the poster it creates a strong, organic channel through the centre.

Westport Map Poster & Print
Westport lies on the Connecticut coast of Long Island Sound, in Fairfield County, roughly an hour or so from New York City. From above, its southern edge is a complicated shoreline of beaches, points, marshes and coves. The Saugatuck River cuts inland through the middle of town as a wide tidal estuary.
Away from the water, Westport is a wooded town of winding roads and large lots rather than a grid. Downtown sits along the Saugatuck. I-95 and the Metro-North railroad cross the southern part of town, and the Merritt Parkway runs through the north, following its own curving path.
A Westport map poster shows how much of the town's shape is set by water. Compo Beach curves along the Sound, the estuary splits the town, and quiet residential lanes spread up into the hills. It has long been a favourite of commuters, writers and artists.

Compo Beach
Compo Beach curves along the shore of Long Island Sound. Its smooth line and the headland beside it are among the most recognisable shapes on the map.
Three corridors
I-95, the railroad and the Merritt Parkway cross the town from east to west. Each follows its own path, and together they form clear layered bands across the map.

ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Westport is where many people moved for the shore and the schools, or grew up spending summers at the beach. A map of its coast and roads makes a considered gift for a new house or a return home.
Add your street name or the year you moved in, and choose one of five styles. Blueprint suits the waterfront particularly well. Download the HD files for $9 or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
