Wujia is a small town in the far south of Guangxi, in the low, warm country not far from the Beibu Gulf. On a map it appears as a compact settlement where a few main roads cross, surrounded by a patchwork of fields, ponds and village clusters. The land here is mostly flat or gently rolling, so the pattern of roads and water spreads out evenly across the frame.
