Water in the fields
Ponds and irrigation channels surround the town. In black and white they become small pale shapes spread through the farmland, a pattern typical of the Anhui lowlands.

Wuyang Map Poster & Print
Wuyang lies in the west of Anhui province, in the low country between the Dabie foothills and the Huai River basin. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets set within a wide farming landscape. Irrigation channels, ponds and small reservoirs scatter pale shapes across the surrounding land, and the roads leading out run fairly straight across the flat ground.
This is not a place with famous monuments. What the map does show is typical of this part of central China: a town centre with denser blocks, newer districts with wider roads and larger plots, and beyond them a fine pattern of fields and water. The change from built-up area to farmland happens quickly, which gives the composition a clear outline.
A Wuyang map poster is a quiet and personal choice. Most people who order one have a direct connection to the town, perhaps through where they were born, where their parents live or where they once worked. Reduced to line and tone, the streets and waterways become a calm portrait of a place that rarely shows up in guidebooks but matters a great deal to those who know it.

Old and new districts
The older centre has tighter, smaller blocks. Newer quarters use wider roads and larger plots, and the difference in density is easy to see from above.
Straight country roads
Roads leave town across flat land in long, nearly straight lines. They connect Wuyang to nearby villages and larger centres in the region.
