Lake Zug shoreline
The town follows the northeastern edge of the lake, and the long curve of the shore gives the poster a strong, elegant boundary line.

Zug Map Poster & Print
Zug is the capital of the Swiss canton of the same name, set on the northeastern shore of Lake Zug between Zurich and Lucerne. Its small medieval old town sits right at the water's edge, with the Zytturm clock tower as one of its landmarks. Behind the town, the land rises toward the Zugerberg, a wooded mountain reached by a funicular.
From above, the contrast is clear: the curving lakeshore, the tight lanes of the old town, and the more spacious grid of newer districts that extend north. In recent decades Zug has become known internationally as a business centre, largely because of its low taxes, and many global companies have offices here.
A Zug map poster captures a town defined by the lake. The long, smooth shoreline, the dense historic streets and the open water to the south create a composition with strong balance. Zug is also known for its sunsets over the lake and for the Zuger Kirschtorte, a cherry brandy cake.

Medieval old town
Narrow streets and closely packed buildings near the water form the historic core, a dense cluster of lines beside the open lake.
Zugerberg slopes
East of town, roads begin to wind up the wooded slopes of the Zugerberg, adding curving lines that contrast with the flatter lakeside districts.
