High Street on the ridge
The old coaching route runs along high ground through the centre. Side roads branch downhill from it, giving the map a clear central spine with ribs on either side.

Barnet Map Poster & Print
Barnet, often called Chipping Barnet or High Barnet, sits at the northern edge of Greater London. The town grew along the old Great North Road, and its High Street still follows the crest of a ridge, with side streets dropping away on both sides. From above you can still make out the outline of a market town inside the wider suburban fabric.
Barnet is known for the Battle of Barnet of 1471, a turning point in the Wars of the Roses, fought just north of the town. The underground connection is the terminus of the Northern line, which marks it as the place where London's transport network ends. To the north and west, the streets stop and fields, commons and woodland begin.
A Barnet map poster captures that edge-of-the-city quality. There is a strong linear High Street, the pale gaps of Hadley Common and other green spaces, and the rows of Victorian and interwar houses that lead south towards the rest of London. The result reads clearly as both a town and a suburb.

Commons and green belt
To the north, Hadley Green and the surrounding common land, followed by open countryside, leave wide blank areas where the dense London street pattern stops.
End of the line
High Barnet station marks the northern end of a Northern line branch, and the railway cutting gives the southern part of the town a clear, straight line.

Niyə Barnet
Məna daşıyan xəritə
Barnet is a place people are attached to. Families have lived there for generations, commuters rode the Northern line to its end for decades, and others remember the High Street as the place they grew up. A map poster keeps that particular corner of London in view.
Add a personal title, such as your road name or the year you moved in, and adjust the subtitle and coordinates. Pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It is available as a $9 HD file set or a printed, optionally framed poster.
