Hillside streets
Roads curve around the rolling terrain instead of following a strict grid, which gives the town an organic, irregular outline on paper.

Castro Alves Map Poster & Print
Castro Alves is a town in the interior of Bahia, west of the Recôncavo region around the Bay of All Saints. It takes its name from Antônio Frederico de Castro Alves, the nineteenth-century poet known for his abolitionist verse, who was born in the area when it was still called Curralinho. The name makes it one of the more recognisable small towns in the state.
The terrain around the town is hilly, and the map shows it. Streets do not form a perfect grid. Instead, they bend and step along the slopes, with the older centre concentrated in one part of town and newer neighbourhoods reaching out along the roads that lead toward the surrounding farmland.
A Castro Alves map poster is a quiet portrait of an inland Bahian town. In black and white the curving streets and uneven edges come through clearly, and the open country around the settlement gives the composition room. For anyone who knows the poet's story, the name on the title line adds a further layer of meaning.

Old town centre
The historic centre holds the densest cluster of streets. It forms the heart of the map, with the rest of town spreading outward from it.
Rural roads
Roads leave the town toward the surrounding farms and hills. They connect it to the wider landscape and extend across the edges of the poster.

Niyə Castro Alves
Məna daşıyan xəritə
Castro Alves suits people with roots in the town and those who care about the poet whose name it carries. The map shows a real place rather than a symbol, which makes it personal.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, perhaps with a line of verse or a family name, and there are five styles. Paper suits the literary association, and Sand the warm inland setting.
