Cosoleacaque Map Poster & Print
Cosoleacaque is in the south of Veracruz state, in the lowlands near the Gulf of Mexico. On a map it is part of a larger urban area with Minatitlán and, further toward the coast, Coatzacoalcos. The town has a compact older centre, newer neighbourhoods spreading along the main roads, and wetlands and streams nearby.
The region is one of Mexico's main centres for oil and petrochemicals. Cosoleacaque is known for its large ammonia plant, operated by the state oil company. Its industrial complex sits just outside the town, with long rectangular buildings and pipelines. The Coatzacoalcos River and its tributaries flow through the low country and give the area its waterways.
A Cosoleacaque map poster shows a mix of town, industry and water. It includes the older street grid, the looser neighbourhoods of recent decades, the large industrial blocks and the winding lines of rivers and marshes. The result is dense and interesting, a picture of a working place in Mexico's tropical south.
