Estância Map Poster & Print
Estância lies in the south of Sergipe, a short distance inland from the Atlantic. From above, the town is shaped by the river that runs along its edge: the older streets follow the waterside and the low ground, and newer neighbourhoods have spread up onto the surrounding rises. Toward the east, the land drops to estuaries, mangroves and a coastline of long beaches.
It is one of the oldest towns in the state, and its historic centre still holds colonial-era churches and townhouses. Estância is best known in Brazil for its June festivals. The São João celebrations here are famous for their fireworks traditions, including the barco de fogo, a fireworks boat that races along a wire above the crowd.
An Estância map poster shows a small Brazilian town with a clear sense of place: the curve of the river, the tighter blocks of the historic core and the roads heading out toward the coast. In monochrome, the water becomes an open, pale shape that holds the dense network of streets together.

Growth on higher ground
Newer residential areas extend across the rises beyond the centre in broader, more regular blocks, showing how the town grew outward over time.
Road to the coast
Routes run east from town across low land and estuaries toward the Atlantic beaches, pulling the map's edge toward the sea.

Niyə Estância
Məna daşıyan xəritə
Estância holds a special place for anyone who has spent São João there or grew up with its fireworks. A map of its streets brings back the town itself, not only the festival, and fits well in a living room or bedroom.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with the year of a memorable June, and edit the coordinates line. The map comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
