Road junction centre
The heart of the town forms where its main roads come together, creating the densest cluster of lines on the map and a natural focal point for the composition.

Fengolo Map Poster & Print
Fengolo is a town in the Montagnes district of western Côte d'Ivoire, a region of hills, forest and farmland that stretches toward the borders with Liberia and Guinea. Like many towns in this part of the country, it has a modest central area where roads meet, with houses and compounds spreading outward along the main routes rather than in a strict grid.
The surrounding land is largely agricultural, and the west of Côte d'Ivoire is known for cocoa, coffee and other crops grown on smallholdings. From above the town is ringed by a patchwork of fields and tree cover, crossed by unpaved tracks and small streams. The contrast between the denser settlement and the open country around it is what gives the place its shape.
A Fengolo map poster is an understated piece. There are no grand avenues or waterfronts, only the lines of everyday movement: the roads into town, the paths between compounds, the curves of the watercourses. Rendered in clean black strokes, that network becomes a calm, honest portrait of a small community in the Ivorian west.

Organic outskirts
Beyond the centre, streets and tracks spread irregularly, following terrain and property lines, which gives the edges of the poster a soft, organic texture.
Streams and fields
Small watercourses and the open land around town frame the settlement, so the map reads as a compact community set within a wide working landscape.
