Corralejo dunes
The natural park behind Corralejo is a broad, empty stretch on the northeast coast. A single road crosses it, and shallow water facing Lobos runs along its edge.

Fuerteventura Map Poster & Print
Fuerteventura is the second-largest of the Canary Islands and the closest to the African coast, roughly 100 kilometres away. On a map it is a long, narrow shape running northeast to southwest, with worn volcanic hills in the interior and a coastline dominated by sand. There are few roads and they are far apart, so the island's outline carries most of the picture.
In the north, the dunes of Corralejo form a pale, almost roadless area behind the town, and the small islet of Lobos sits just offshore. Puerto del Rosario, the capital, is on the east coast, with a modest grid next to the port. Inland, Betancuria, the island's first capital, sits in a sheltered valley, a reminder that early settlers stayed away from the exposed shore.
At the southern end, the Jandía peninsula swings away from the main body of the island. A narrow strip of land links the two, and there are long beaches on both of the peninsula's coasts. The whole island has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2009. A Fuerteventura map poster makes the most of this sparse geography: long curves of shore, a few towns and a lot of open ground.

Jandía isthmus
The island narrows sharply and then widens again into the Jandía peninsula. This gives Fuerteventura its recognisable tail and separates the calmer east coast from the wilder west.
Betancuria valley
The historic capital sits in an inland valley among bare hills, a small cluster of streets far from the coast. On the map it shows as the point where roads wind in from several directions.

Məna daşıyan xəritə
Surfers, windsurfers and families come back to Fuerteventura for the same stretch of beach every year, and its long, spare outline makes an unusually graphic poster. With so few roads and so much open space, the map works almost like a drawing of the coastline.
You can personalise it with the name of your beach or town, a date and your own coordinates line, then choose a style. Sand suits the island's dunes and Blueprint its sea. A free 900 px preview lets you check the layout before you buy.
