Geseke Map Poster & Print
Geseke lies on the Hellweg, the ancient east–west route across Westphalia, between Lippstadt and Paderborn in North Rhine-Westphalia. Its historic centre has a compact pattern of streets around the old churches, a legacy of its medieval importance as a Hanseatic town on this trade road. It is still the densest cluster of detail on the map.
The land around Geseke rests on limestone, and the town is known for its cement industry. Large quarries surround it. On a Geseke map poster they appear as broad, sharply defined open areas with stepped edges, unusual shapes that set this map apart from those of other small towns in the region.
Beyond the quarries, the fertile farmland of the Hellweg plain stretches out in large fields crossed by country roads. The railway and main roads run east to west, parallel to the old route that brought the town its early prosperity. In black and white, the historic streets, the industrial landscape and the open farmland form a layered and unusual composition.

Limestone quarries
Large quarries for the cement industry surround the town. They appear as broad open shapes with sharp, stepped edges that give the poster an unusual, almost abstract quality.
Hellweg corridor
Road and railway run east to west through the area, tracing the line of the historic trade route and giving the composition a strong horizontal direction.

Niyə Geseke
Məna daşıyan xəritə
The map of Geseke is unlike most small-town maps, because its quarries add striking abstract forms beside the old streets. That makes it a good choice for residents, for people who work in the local industry, and for anyone who likes maps with an unexpected graphic edge.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the technical look of the quarries. Buy the $9 HD files, or order a printed poster on matte paper, framed if you prefer.
