Bali Strait shore
The eastern edge of the map is the coastline of the Bali Strait, a long, slightly irregular line that gives the whole composition its orientation and a strong area of open space.

Muncar Map Poster & Print
Muncar lies on the eastern edge of Java in Banyuwangi Regency, facing the Bali Strait. From above it reads as a coastal town first: a shoreline running roughly north to south, a harbour edge crowded with small structures, and behind it a close network of village lanes that thin out into cultivated land. The sea sets the eastern limit on every side of the map.
The town is best known as a fishing port, one of the most important on Java for sardine catches from the strait, and fish processing has long shaped its economy. On a map this shows as a working waterfront rather than a promenade. Short streets run down towards the water, and the built-up area is densest where the boats land. It is a place organised around the shore and the catch.
A Muncar map poster keeps this quiet structure in view: the firm line of the coast, the fine mesh of residential lanes and the few longer roads that tie the town to the rest of Banyuwangi. Without colour or labels to distract, the relationship between land and water becomes the subject, and the pattern of a small maritime town reads clearly at any print size.

Harbour waterfront
Near the landing areas the street pattern tightens into many short lanes leading to the water, a fine texture that records how closely the town is tied to its fishing port.
Inland fringe
Towards the west the dense grid loosens into scattered roads and open ground, showing the transition from coastal settlement to the agricultural land of Banyuwangi Regency.
