Kwan Phayao lake
The large lake fills much of the map with open space. Its shoreline forms a long, gentle curve that defines the western edge of the town.

Phayao Map Poster & Print
Phayao is the capital of the province of the same name in northern Thailand. It sits on the eastern shore of Kwan Phayao, a large freshwater lake that dominates both the landscape and the town's map. Mountains rise to the west beyond the lake, and the town's streets spread along the shore and back toward the valley.
The lakeside promenade is the town's main public space, and residents gather there in the evenings to watch the sunset over the water. Phayao has a long history as the centre of an old northern kingdom, and it is known for temples such as Wat Si Khom Kham, which houses the large Buddha image Phra Chao Ton Luang near the water.
A Phayao map poster is shaped above all by the lake. Its broad outline takes up a large part of the frame, and the town's streets form a finer, denser pattern along the shore. The balance between open water and urban texture makes this one of the more naturally composed small-town maps, calm and spacious at once.

Lakeside promenade
The road along the shore traces the edge of the water. It is where the town meets the lake, and on the poster it is the clearest line in the composition.
Temple grounds
Temple compounds such as Wat Si Khom Kham appear as distinct shapes near the water, giving the map points of focus within the grid of town streets.

Məna daşıyan xəritə
Phayao is a place of quiet evenings by the water, and many who have studied at its university or visited in passing remember it that way. A map poster keeps that lake and those streets present long after leaving.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, in Thai or English. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint shows the lake's shape especially well.
