Dispersed hamlets
Instead of one compact centre, Quelfes has small clusters of houses spread across the parish, giving the map an evenly scattered, rural texture.

Quelfes Map Poster & Print
Quelfes is a parish in the municipality of Olhão, in the eastern Algarve in southern Portugal. It lies just inland from the town, between the coast and the low hills of the interior. From above, it is a mix of dispersed settlement: small clusters of houses, country lanes and cultivated plots rather than a single dense centre.
The land here has long been farmed, with citrus groves, orchards and small holdings typical of the Algarve's coastal plain. Toward the south the parish borders the more built-up area of Olhão, and beyond that the lagoons and islands of the Ria Formosa line the shore. Roads branch through the parish, connecting its hamlets with each other and with town.
A Quelfes map poster shows the lesser-seen side of the Algarve, where the coast gives way to working countryside. The loose network of lanes and the patches of settlement make a light, airy composition. It suits residents, returning families, and anyone who knows the quieter land behind the beaches.

Country lanes
A network of narrow roads winds between plots and orchards, linking the hamlets and leading south toward the town of Olhão.
Near the Ria Formosa
The parish lies inland of the coastal lagoons, so on a wider map the land fades into the channels and islands of the Ria Formosa to the south.

Niyə Quelfes
Məna daşıyan xəritə
Quelfes is familiar to people with family land in the area, to those who have moved to the Algarve for its quieter inland life, and to returning emigrants. A map of the parish is a subtle, personal way to mark that connection.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates to suit, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9 with no watermark, and printed posters are shipped from partners across Europe and beyond.
