Plaza 25 de Mayo
The main square occupies a large block at the centre of the grid. It is the natural focal point of the poster and a starting point for exploring the city's sculptures.

Resistencia Map Poster & Print
Resistencia, the capital of Chaco province, stands on the low plain west of the Paraná River, across from the city of Corrientes. Its plan is a textbook Argentine grid centred on a large main square, Plaza 25 de Mayo. The land beneath it is far less orderly. The Negro River and a scatter of lagoons and old meanders wind through the blocks, interrupting streets and forming irregular green spaces.
Resistencia is known as the city of sculptures. Hundreds of works stand along its pavements, squares and boulevards, many of them created during the international sculpture biennial held in the city. To the east, the General Belgrano Bridge crosses the Paraná to Corrientes, linking the two provincial capitals across one of South America's great rivers.
A Resistencia map poster makes the most of this tension between plan and water. The grid is regular enough to feel almost abstract, and the curves of the river and lagoons cut across it in soft, unexpected shapes, with the broad floodplain of the Paraná filling the eastern side of wider views. It is a city plan that rewards being seen from above.

Lagoons and meanders
Old river channels and lagoons are scattered through the urban area. They appear as curving pale shapes that break the chessboard of streets in several places.
Paraná floodplain
To the east the city dissolves into wetlands and river channels before the Paraná itself, crossed by the long bridge to Corrientes.

Məna daşıyan xəritə
People from Resistencia often mention its sculptures and its heat in the same breath. A map of the grid and its waters brings the city indoors in a quieter register, suitable for a home office or as a gift for someone who has moved to Buenos Aires or abroad.
Personalise the title and subtitle, add a meaningful date and keep the exact coordinates, then choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame, and the HD files are $9.
