Santa Fe Map Poster & Print
Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, capital of its Argentine province, occupies a strip of land in the floodplain of the Paraná system. The Salado River runs along the west and the wide Setúbal lagoon spreads along the east, so the city's regular grid of square blocks is framed by water. On a map the effect is striking: a dense rectangle of streets surrounded by pale, open channels and wetlands.
The Puente Colgante, a suspension bridge across the Setúbal lagoon, links the city to the eastern shore and has become its best-known symbol. Further south lies the port, with docks and basins cut into the riverbank. Because so much of the surrounding land is low and prone to flooding, embankments follow the city's edge, and they appear on the map as long, deliberate lines.
Founded in 1573 by Juan de Garay and later moved to its present site, Santa Fe is also where Argentina's national constitution was adopted in 1853. The old centre keeps a strong civic character around its main square. A Santa Fe map poster captures a city defined as much by water as by streets, and the balance between the two makes for a composed, graphic print.

Puente Colgante
The suspension bridge crossing the lagoon is the city's emblem, and on the map it draws a single thin line across open water toward the eastern shore.
Square-block grid
The centre follows the Spanish colonial plan of equal square blocks, a regular mesh that fills the land between the Salado and the lagoon.
