Mountain slope streets
On the upper slopes the straight blocks give way to curving roads that wrap around the hillside, drawing tight concentric arcs that show the gradient without any shading.

Westmount Map Poster & Print
Westmount occupies the southwestern flank of Mount Royal, and the map shows it plainly. Lower down, the streets form a fairly regular grid of long east–west avenues crossed by shorter north–south streets. Higher up, the grid loosens into winding crescents that follow the contours, and the lines grow shorter and more tangled as they approach the green summit.
The city is surrounded on every side by Montreal, yet it runs its own affairs. Westmount was merged into Montreal in 2002 and voted to become a separate municipality again in 2006. On paper its boundary is barely visible, but the change in street pattern and the calm, leafy blocks set it apart from the denser neighbourhoods around it.
A Westmount map poster shows the whole climb in one frame: the expressway and rail corridor along the southern edge, the steady blocks of the lower town, and the loops of the upper slope ending at the trees. It is a small place, and the detail of each residential street stays readable even on the smaller print sizes.

Westmount Park
A large open rectangle in the lower town, the park breaks up the grid of residential streets with lawns and paths and stands out as a clear pale area on the print.
Southern transport edge
Rail lines and a major expressway run along the south side of the city, forming a firm lower border that contrasts with the soft wooded edge at the top.

Niyə Westmount
Məna daşıyan xəritə
Westmount tends to belong to people who know it street by street: a first apartment below Sherbrooke, a family house on the hill, a walk up to the summit woods. The poster keeps that geography in one quiet image that suits a hallway or study.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a meaningful date or the coordinates of a particular address, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The dense upper streets look especially good in Noir.
