Nossa Senhora de Fátima is the northernmost parish of the Macau peninsula, in the Macau Special Administrative Region of China. On a map, it is one of the densest places anywhere: close-packed blocks of residential towers, markets and schools on largely flat land, much of it reclaimed from the sea. Its northern edge meets the border with Zhuhai in mainland Guangdong.
The parish takes its name from the Church of Our Lady of Fátima and is Macau's most populous. At its northern tip stands the Border Gate, Portas do Cerco, long the main crossing between Macau and the mainland and still one of the busiest. Reclaimed districts and waterfront roads face the sea to the east, and a narrow channel separates the peninsula from Zhuhai to the west.
