Pont del Petroli
A former fuel-unloading pier now serves as a promenade reaching straight out into the Mediterranean, a single fine line that stands out clearly against the open water.

Badalona Map Poster & Print
Badalona continues the Barcelona coastline to the north-east, just beyond the mouth of the Besòs river. The city is long and narrow, pressed between the sea and the hills of the Serralada de Marina, and its plan follows that strip: a coastal rail line and seafront promenade along the beach, with neighbourhoods climbing inland in a mixture of old lanes and regular blocks.
The oldest part of the city, Dalt de la Vila, stands on the site of Roman Baetulo, and archaeological remains survive beneath its streets. Lower down, the former industrial quarters by the shore held factories, including the one that produced Anís del Mono, whose modernista building still stands. Newer districts spread across the slopes toward the ridge, where the streets give way to parkland and woods.
The shoreline's best-known silhouette is the Pont del Petroli, an old pier once used to unload fuel that now extends straight into the sea as a walkway. A Badalona map poster sets that thin line against the straight beach and the dense streets behind it, a composition that balances sea, city and hills with unusual clarity.

Dalt de la Vila
The old upper town sits on the site of Roman Baetulo, its irregular lanes a contrast with the more regular blocks that fill the rest of the city.
Serralada de Marina
Wooded hills rise behind the city, where the street pattern fades into slopes and parkland, giving the poster a soft upper edge.

Badalona has a strong identity of its own despite sitting beside Barcelona, and locals know it. A map of the beach, the pier and the hills is a way to show exactly where home is, whether you still live there or moved away.
