Castaños Map Poster & Print
Castaños is a town in the Mexican state of Coahuila, located just southeast of the city of Monclova and part of its wider urban area. It lies in a broad valley of the northern Mexican desert, with mountain ranges rising on either side. The town is small, but its position on the main routes through the region gives it a clear place on the map.
The street layout is largely regular, with blocks arranged in a grid around a central area and newer neighbourhoods expanding toward Monclova. Major highways pass nearby, forming straight lines across the flat valley floor. Beyond the town, the land becomes open and dry, with the ridges of the surrounding sierras setting a firm edge to the landscape.
Towns in this part of Coahuila are closely linked to the industrial economy centred on Monclova, one of Mexico's major steel-producing areas. A Castaños map poster shows the town's orderly streets, the highways that connect it to its larger neighbour and the wide valley that surrounds it, a straightforward portrait of a northern Mexican town.

Castaños is home for many families in the Monclova area, and a map of the town is a personal reminder of the valley, the desert light and the streets of home. It also makes a fitting gift for relatives who have moved north.
Write the title in Spanish or English, add a subtitle and a date, and adjust the coordinates line. Styles include Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, which suits the desert.
