Gamagōri Map Poster & Print
Gamagōri faces Mikawa Bay in southern Aichi, and its map is shaped by the meeting of steep green hills and a gently curving shoreline. The town stretches along the coast in a narrow band. Residential streets climb a short way inland before the slopes take over, and harbour basins and reclaimed land give the waterfront a crisp, geometric edge.
The best-known feature is Takeshima, a small wooded island just offshore with a shrine on it, reached by a long footbridge.
