Glassmanor is an unincorporated community in Prince George's County, Maryland, directly beside the south-eastern boundary of Washington, D.C. From above, the District line is visible as a straight diagonal edge, and Glassmanor's streets press right up against it, making the border between city and suburb easy to read.
The area is mostly residential, with apartment complexes, curving suburban streets and blocks of houses arranged around a few main roads. Stream valleys and patches of woodland break up the built-up area, and major routes lead south towards Oxon Hill and the Potomac waterfront.
