Kabirwala is a town and tehsil headquarters in Khanewal district, in the south of Pakistani Punjab. The land around it is almost perfectly flat, part of the broad plain shaped by the Ravi and Chenab rivers. On the map, the town is a compact knot of streets surrounded by an extensive grid of farmland and irrigation channels.
The district is an agricultural area, and Kabirwala serves as a market town for its villages. The main road through town links it to Khanewal and to towns further north, and most commercial life stretches along it.
