Kiserian Map Poster & Print
Kiserian lies in Kajiado County just southwest of Nairobi, below the southern end of the Ngong Hills. On the map it is a compact market centre on Magadi Road, with newer residential areas spreading across the surrounding slopes as the city pushes outward.
Magadi Road is the town's backbone. Beyond Kiserian it drops toward the Rift Valley floor and eventually reaches Lake Magadi. Side roads leave the main road at irregular angles, many of them unpaved, and the pattern becomes more open and scattered toward the edges.
The Ngong Hills rise to the northwest, a line of rounded peaks that are one of the best-known landmarks around Nairobi. Kiserian has long been a Maasai trading area and is now also a commuter town. A Kiserian map poster shows a place between city and savanna.
