Lingen Map Poster & Print
Lingen, in the Emsland district of Lower Saxony, stands on the Ems River not far from the Dutch border. On a map, two waterways run close together past the town: the natural, winding Ems and the straight, man-made Dortmund-Ems Canal. Near them lies a compact old centre whose streets gather around a historic market square.
Around that core the plan opens out into residential districts, industrial areas and green corridors, with the railway crossing through.
