Löbau Map Poster & Print
Löbau lies in Upper Lusatia, in eastern Saxony, between Dresden and the Polish border. From above, the town has a clear centre: an old core around a market square, with streets leaving it in several directions, and later neighbourhoods spreading out across the gently rolling land.
East of the town rises the Löbauer Berg, a wooded hill that appears on the map as an area of forest and winding paths. On its summit stands a cast-iron observation tower from the nineteenth century, one of the best-known landmarks in the region. The town also hosted the Saxon state garden show in 2012, which left new green spaces in the townscape.
