Mairo Inya is a town in Nyandarua County, in the highlands of central Kenya. Its coordinates put it only a few kilometres north of the equator. Nyandarua is a high plateau known for farming, with cool weather and fertile soil that support potatoes, dairy and other crops, and the Aberdare range rises to the east of the county.
