Mlimba Map Poster & Print
Mlimba lies in the Morogoro Region of southern-central Tanzania, in the broad Kilombero Valley. The TAZARA railway, which connects Dar es Salaam with Zambia, passes through the town, and much of Mlimba's activity is centred on its station. From above, a compact settlement gathers along the line.
Around the town, the landscape opens into farmland and floodplain, with seasonal rivers and wetland crossing the valley floor. Rice and other crops are grown across the area. Tracks and footpaths radiate from the centre toward outlying villages, and on a map they appear as fine lines across mostly open ground.
