Overijse Map Poster & Print
Overijse is in Flemish Brabant, just southeast of Brussels, where the city gives way to rolling countryside. The municipality takes its name from the Ijse, a small stream that runs through a valley here. Its western side borders the Sonian Forest, the large beech forest that also runs up to the edge of the capital.
On a map Overijse looks like several villages loosely joined together, not one town.
