Poldokhtar is a town in Lorestan Province in western Iran, set in a valley of the Zagros Mountains beside the Kashkan River. The name means Maiden's Bridge and refers to the ruins of a historic bridge over the Kashkan, generally dated to the Sasanian period. The broken arches are among the best-known sights of the region.
