Puruliya Map Poster & Print
Puruliya is the headquarters of West Bengal's westernmost district, on the eastern edge of the Chota Nagpur Plateau. The ground here is higher and more rolling than the delta to the east. On a map the town forms a fairly compact grid of streets, with roads leading out across open, lightly settled country toward low hills.
In the heart of the town lies Saheb Bandh, a large reservoir whose broad, regular outline is the most striking shape on the map.
