Stockelsdorf lies in Schleswig-Holstein, directly adjoining the city of Lübeck to the northwest. The map shows a place in transition between city and countryside. The manor house, the Herrenhaus Stockelsdorf, dates from the same era of the estate's history. It remains one of the town's most notable buildings.
