Suay Map Poster & Print
Suay is a community in the Western Visayas, on the island of Negros in the Philippines. It lies in the coastal lowland of Negros Occidental, a province long associated with sugar cane. The plain slopes gently from the island's volcanic interior toward the Panay Gulf. On a map, the land is divided into large cultivated blocks, with small settlements placed along the roads that cross them.
The built area is small. Houses and a barangay centre line the main road, and side lanes branch off into the fields. Creeks and irrigation lines cut across the flat ground on their way to the sea.
