Wangji Map Poster
Wangji lies on the Huaibei plain in northern Jiangsu, a wide, flat farming region drained by rivers and canals. From above, the town is a compact built-up core surrounded by a regular patchwork of fields, with roads and irrigation channels running in long straight lines toward neighbouring villages.
Like many towns on this plain, Wangji is organised around a main street and a handful of cross streets, with newer residential and commercial blocks added along the approach roads. The land is so level that water management shapes the landscape, and ditches, ponds and field boundaries all show up clearly in the map's geometry.
